The balls are threaded onto an elastic band for easy putting on and taking off.
Length of the ball bracelet: approx. 19cm, diameter of the balls 8mm.
The first discovery of dumortierite was in 1881 in a quarry in the French department of Rhône; The first scientific description was made by the mineralogist MF Gonnard. He named the newly discovered mineral in honor of the French paleontologist Eugène Dumortier (1801 - 1876).
