Dowsing rod
Dowsing rod
A dowsing rod is an instrument that an experienced dowser can use to locate sources of water, metals, gemstones or other objects in the ground or areas of energetic interference in the home.
Material: birch wood and aluminum
Instructions for use
Place the dowsing rod in the palm of your hand and hold the handles firmly but not tightly with your fingers and thumb. The long end of the rod should not touch your hands while you hold it so that it can move freely.
While holding the dowsing rod in this manner, ask for a “yes” response. The ending then moves either from top to bottom or from left to right to indicate what "yes" means to you. Then ask the rod to indicate what the answer “no” will be. Again, the dowsing rod will swing up and down or from left to right, and it should be the opposite of what the rod showed you as the answer, "Yes." Repeat this again so that the “yes” and “no” movements are completely clear to you.
Now ask your yes/no questions. So ask the questions in such a way that they can only be answered with a simple “yes” or “no”. Ask questions to find lost or wanted items by searching for directions.
